Our first offical RBC outing to Pinebush Preserve in Colonie, NY. We left good 'ol Rotterdam at 12:00p in search of a good days ride in Colonie. Not knowing what to expect we arrived full of excitement. That days was scorching hot, with high humidity, which made for real intense riding condition. For a complete review of Pinebush Preserve check out our Trail Reviews section. We rode for a solid hour, took a short water break at the car and jumped back into the trails for another hour. It was a great beginner ride full of small hills, and tight trails.

- Pierre and I decided to go for a short ride. It had rained so if you know Pinebush, you'll know that all that sand turned to quicksand. We left at 7:00p and we caught a good hour of solid riding. Due to the rain and the time, it was actually pleasent to ride. This time we knew the trails a little better so we could move a little faster through them and at some points we were full speed. We decided to go exploring, so we took Old State Rd. down until we caught a trail entry point. We followed the trail but ended no where. We decided to leave right after we both hit some unseen fallen trees that sent our balls into our stomachs.
